The Land The Light The Locals Experience Holland !

Border bands Scocha and Real Time, supported by Gary Forrest and Pat Douglas, made quite an impression when they played to enthusiastic Dutch audiences at the 3-day Country Fair at Aalten in Holland.  The fair is an annual event and is set in beautiful landscape in the east of Holland close to the German border.  There were over 300 stalls in tents and marquees along with horses, dogs, sheep and various other livestock in an attractive setting. The music tent was definitely the place to be at the fair which saw over 10,000 visitors over the 3 days.    Scocha had the tent positively swaying on the Saturday night when they helped to celebrate the Dutch football victory that evening in their orange tee shirts!  Judging by audience reaction Scocha will follow Real Time, who are already firm favourites in Holland, Germany and Switzerland.   A great weekend with lots of sunshine, fun and great hospitality.  Many thanks to our kind hosts Joke & Erik.
