Elsa moved to the Borders from Inverness thirty years ago (long enough perhaps to be called a Borderer!).  Was fortunate to have been a resident singer at the Borders Folk Club in Hawick in its hey day, where performers of the stature of Willie Scott and fiddlers Tom Hughes and Wattie Robson were an inspiration.

Now lives in the equally inspirational Yarrow Valley, and, in the course of past years, has sung in duo with the American singer Ellie Ellis and more recently with Pat Douglas, as well as the occasional solo performance.
